Gold has been Flat for the past One Year yoy  as Europe Capital continued it’s flight into US Treasuries in 2011 and 2012  and supported the US $  ~ but 2013 it should resume it’s march into record territory over US $ 2000/oz
Indian Sensitive Indices too were largely range bound and it made little sense to play them ~ 2013 may not be much different
The Strategy as recommended strongly last year was to be bottom up selective in Stocks ~ two of my favourites from 2011 and recommended more than once strongly to clients were L & T Finance Holdings and Tata Global Beverages ~ and they have not disappointed with the later surging 100% in a year and L & T Finance beginning to surge recently  and is up 25% from last Diwali
Continue to Stay Selective rather than play the Indices and stay Long on Gold too !

Happy Diwali n new year to u and ur family sir! Tata Global Bev doubled frm last year..happy for tht coz i had also selected tht stock in ur online competition. But sad part is i got out of it at 120 and had a plan to again buy at low price..but missed the bus. Still wil buy it soon now 🙂

  2. Warmly reciprocate Seasons Greetings to you Shahzad ~ yes I am ware of your penchant for Tata Global in the TAP GAP Series last year ~ great selection ~ but you took the train to Ahmedabad from Mumbai Central and got off at Borivali ! ~ Need to revive the TAP GAP Series ~ had encountered a problem with Couriers unwilling to carry the prize hamper to winners around the country ~ Cheers
