~ some would categorise them as self proclaimed virtuous watchdogs of our three arms in our Dysfunctional Democracy ~ Legislature,Executive and Judiciary
Tarun Tejpal of Tehelka accused of sexual assault by a colleague ~ Tehelka within Tehelka !
At Thinkfest 2013 in Goa on November 7 and November 8 earlier this month Tarun Tejpal had sexually misbehaved with a lady journalist of Tehelka itself who first confided in Tarun’s own daughter who chided her father for this but later the Journalist complained officially to Shoma Chaudhary,the Tehelka editor ~ there was an attempt at cover up at Tehelka but the Goa Police’s FIR today has squashed this effort
Tejpal had resigned a few days ago as Editor -in-Chief of Tehelka for as he put it “The last few days have been most testing, and I squarely take the blame for this. A bad lapse of judgment, an awful misreading of the situation, have led to an unfortunate incident that rails against all we believe in and fight for. I have already unconditionally apologised for my misconduct to the concerned journalist, but I feel impelled to atone further. I must do the penance that lacerates me. I am therefore offering to recuse myself from the editorship of Tehelka, and from the Tehelka office, for the next six months”
Tarun Tejpal began his career in India Today in the 1980s and then left to co-found Outlook Magazine .He left Outlook to set up Tehelka in March 2000 ~was hounded by the NDA government when in 2001 he had done a Sting Operation ‘Operation West End’ to expose shady Defense Deals for which ex BJP chief Banguru Laxman was trapped on camera ~now BJP accuses the Congress of protecting him though the Goa Police has slapped a FIR on him today for outraging the Modesty of a Woman under Sec 354 of the IPC and Rape under Sec 376 of the IPC
Tarun Tejpal has authored a Book “The Story of My Assassins” ~ His Victim must surely feel he is one too !

There is saying in urdu “Hamam Mein Sab Nange Hain”..Radia tapes opened my eyes on the morals of Indian Journalist.

Yes Anurag,the Radia Tapes should be made public as thousands of her conversations with politicians,top media persons,leading insustrialists and bureaucrats and other influential agents reveals her influence and involvement in many deals ~ clearly a time bomb that is ticking and sooner or later the public will know what’s on these tapes and how corrupt and immoral and criminal our society has become ~ we have degenerated into something else than Human Beings for Power,Prestige and Pecuniary Gains…..
