Saina Nehwal Upsets World No 4 to enter the Quarter Finals at the Olympics

 

Wow ! What a beginning to the Week!… First Abhinav Bindra wins India it’s first ever Individual Olympic Gold…and this must have inspired our 18 year Old, Saina Nehwal to upset the World No 4, 32 year old Wang Chen from Hong Kong  21/19, 11/21 and 21/11 to enter the last Eight.. The duration of the match was 52 minutes and  stretched to three games with the longest rally being for 35 seconds and for 33 strokes

Saina played a superb match…the first game was close with Saina taking it at 21/19… maximum lead was three points in this Game… Wang Chen stormed back to win the second game at 21/11 leading by 10 points at one time…but what a turnaround again ! Saina took the third game and the Match at  21/11 leading by 10 points at one time 

Go for Gold ! Saina !..Over 1.1 billion country compatriots are rooting for you !
